EMILY'S GARDEN is an illustrated edition of an early New Zealand garden classic. First published in 1902 and entitled MY NEW ZEALAND GARDEN BY A SUFFOLK LADY, it gave a delightful account of the Suffolk Lady's gardening experiences in Britain and New Zealand in the nineteenth century.
Several different editions of the book were published in Britain and New Zealand and Kerry Carman has combined these here. Included are her own enchanting illustrations and a fascinating account of the Suffolk Lady's eventful life and her loves for the gardens she created in Kaiteriteri, Wanganui, Turakina and Marton.
