The arrangement of the book has been little altered. The recent work done at Lincoln and at Palmerston North on the influence of strain on the growth of rye grass, cocksfoot and white clover has been incorporated, and many opinions have been altered as the result of new observations both in experimental plots and in the field. The excellent work of Mr E Bruce Levy published in the "New Zealand Journal of Agriculture" has been largely drawn upon, and references to most of his papers will be found at the end of the description of each grass.
Taped spine, one page folded along top edge.
