Product Information

The authors, Roy Hay and Patrick M. Synge, are internationally known and contribute regularly to all aspects of horticultural literature.  Roy Hal has a following of millions with his BBC gardening broadcasts and has column in The Times.  His own garden is  open to the public at various times of the year.

Patrick M. Synge, Fellow of the Linnean Society, is Chief Editor for the Royal Horticultural Society and produces their monthly journal, Year Books, Dictionary of Gardening and other publications.  He has also travelled through many countries in search of plants.
