Botanic & Guides | British Gardens

Completely revised and updated, the second edition of "The Cornwall Gardens Guide" contains many gardens that have opened to the public since the Guide was first published in 2003. Described as 'an essential companion for anyone who enjoys visiting Cornwall's wealth of gardens', this book is a comprehensive visitor's guide to over 130 gardens in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly open to the public. Written by the author of the standard reference work, "The Parks and Gardens of Cornwall", with additional research by Margaret Grose, the text is thoroughly researched, informative, accessible and up to date. The guide is copiously illustrated with colour photographs - over 100 of which are new to this edition - and includes a general introduction to the geology, climate and garden history of Cornwall; a list of nurseries and garden centres in the county, and a calendar of garden opening times.

Orders 2-3 weeks and price available when ordered.
