Author(s): MCARTHUR GLAD
LIFETIME OF GARDENING by Glad McArthur. From 1956 - 1992 McArthur wrote a weekly gardening column for the Central Otago News. Gardeners in the region wouldn't plant their peas until Glad said it was the right time! The community loved Glad's articles and respected her great gardening knowledge. This book is an edited version of Glad's "Gardening Notes"; a chronicle of what was happening in her own garden, a sharing of visits to other gardens, comments on community activities, a passing on of her expanding gardening knowledge and reminiscences of growing up within one of Central Otago's earliest fruit-growing families.
Good copy, small tear in dj and slight fading to spine.
