Author(s): BEALES PETER LESLIE
Share
Easy to read yet informative and intelligently written. It starts off by documenting Peter Beales life as a small child in rural North Norfolk before following his time through the army and into horticultural life. Many stories touched upon in Peter's previous books have been expanded upon and the details filled in. There is not so much rose growing advice in this book as it purely concentrates on Peter Beales' life.
In summary, a thoroughly enjoyable read, well written in Peter Beales usual easy-to-read style that fits in with other similar biographies and gardening related books.
