STEM A STANDARD TREE EVALUATION METHODSTEM, A STANDARD TREE EVALUATION METHOD by Ron Flook, spiral-bound paperback. This is an A-4 format spiral bound book. In July 1996, the Arboricultural Department of Waikato Polytechnic in Hamilton held a week long seminar on tree evaluation and valuation methods. The seminar was run by Martin Herbert the Head of Aboricultural Studies, and assisted by Rob Graham, Tutor. The methods discussed were selected from current overseas and New Zealand methods. This seminar was attended by practising arboriculturalists, and consisted of both discussions and practical field trials. The overall aim was to come to an agreement about the most useful and usable mothid in practice. STEM was selected as the method of choice.
